The Climate of Saint-Petersburg

The climate of Saint Petersburg is a transitional one, from marine to continental. It is soft and humid with many clouds, fogs and rains. Dry and hot periods with temperature reaching 25 - 30C can be observed in summer, but they usually last not more than a week. Average temperature from  May through September is: May + 10C, June +15C, July + 18C, August + 16C, and September + 11C.

Pulkovo-1 and Pulkovo-2 Airports

Flight to the cities of Russia and CIS are carried out from Pulkovo-1 airport. The airport is situated 19 km far from ‘Marco Polo Saint Petersburg’ Hotel.
You can get from the airport to Moskovskaya metro station by taxi, bus, route taxi No. 39, express bus No. 39 or by  ‘Marco Polo’ hotel car.
